admission process

1. The student admission mechanism at the Kurdistan Technical Institute follows the exact same procedures implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

2. At the end of every academic year, the Institute submits its student admission plan for the upcoming year to the Ministry.

3. Upon graduating from the twelfth grade of preparatory school (or vocational preparatory schools), students must fill out an application form. These forms are completed online through either the Ministry’s website or the Institute’s portal. After processing the applications, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the preliminary list of accepted students. Final admission decisions are made after verifying the students\\' files, documents, and fulfillment of requirements.

First: Structure of the Registration Directorate The Registration Directorate consists of:

1. The Director of Registration.

2. The Certificates Unit.

Second: Duties of the Registration Directorate

• The duties of the Director of Registration include supervising and managing all student-related affairs.

• Issuing the Institute\\'s administrative orders regarding student admissions.

• Issuing the administrative orders for granting Diploma certificates to students.

• Issuing the administrative orders for student transfers.

• Issuing official correspondence to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for any matters pertaining to academic certificates.

• Issuing the administrative orders for student graduations.
